Never found out was in a rush when it arrived and needed heating so just fitted the complete replacement unit been working fine ever since so not messed with it, still have the old one in my garage

Managed to find fan and controller for £54 non OEM but 2 year warranty so figured worth a punt. Will trial and error it when it comes and if one of the original parts still works I'll probably stick it on eBay or classifieds here recoup some of the cost.

So... I had the car in bits this morning, first checked the fuse 40a as it should be and fine. Then checked the voltage across the blower control wires, again as they should be going up and down with the adjustment on the climate ckntrol. So removed the blower, not obstructed or siezed all...

Any idea where I can find the part numbers if I need to order a replacement anything? Used to use realoem for looking up BMW stuff is there an Audi version I can stick my vin in and find the part or does...
AHH right will have a look in the morning cheers! Guess I'll have to take that bit apart anyway so if I can't free it up I'll still be in the right place to measure the voltage from the connection, obviously will check the fuse first
