Well, the quattro is still in bits lol, but I got a deal on some b8s and eibachs for my fwd tdi. Not silly low and handles well, doesn't like heavy stuff in the boot though sinks down a fair bit, if that's a consideration. Didn't affect the drivability but I was taking it slow.
Aaaah well, nice to know its not an exeptional case. It was the subframe that was the worst for me, I sourced a better one and had it dipped and galvanised so should get rid of the problem! I'll look forward to the review on the shifter and diff mount.

Depends how much work you want to put in. For a straight swap the seat must be from the b5 chassis as the seat rails are specific.
Other seats can be fitted but the bases need changing.
Hi guys just wondering if the tqs seats are plug and play in a tdi with regard to the wiring? Will I need the loom from the tqs to make the bolster work?

For sale Blue weave carbon surround, this is the shorter version suitable for double din. Ideally would swap for a single din one but probably won't happen, light surface scratches and the cut isn't perfect, but isn't noticeable once installed. £130 posted.
