Not long in comparison to a lot of others but feels like forever! Ordered 24th May and vehicle has been in production since w/c 5th July

That's my vehicle finally at the Dealership and will be delivered to me 1 week today (1st November) - they were pushing for Thursday this week but didn't suit me (typical). Something to look forward to and there is finally a lot of light at the end of this tunnel! :smiley::smiley:

Now showing as “in port of exit released”… hopefully not long to go now!

At long last a worthwhile update!!!! Now the question is how long did everyone wait for their car to arrive in the UK/dealership from this point?

I have no idea what stage it is - all they say is that it's been in build since w/c 5th July, hasn't been completed as it's missing parts and it's therefore not left the factory.

Even if it does go ahead next week for getting built... it might be like mine where it has been in build for 2.5 months now! The lack of communication and straight answers is very frustrating, the only reason I got the response yesterday was because I emailed asking if it was still looking on...

Audi A3 35 TFSI S Line S-Tronic [C&S] Sportback with 18" diamond cut alloys & Audi Phone Box with Wireless Charging in Navarra Blue. I've emailed back to say if it's the Wireless Charging causing the delay to just remove it from the spec as it was just a "nice to have" and not a necessity but...

After the Dealership repeatedly advising the car would be with them by the end of September but Audi online chat maintaining it has been in build since 5th July and still isn't complete I FINALLY received correspondence from the Dealership yesterday letting me know what I had already suspected:-...

Audi Live Chat are telling me vehicle has been in production since w/c 5th July and repeatedly telling me "it can take up to 2 weeks to complete" obviously taking this from a script and not realising it is now a few days off of being 2 months!!! The Dealership are advising that they anticipate...

I had a 118i M Sport which I sold in May (hence why I ordered A3 at this point too) as was getting fortunes for it even though I only got it in March last year just before lockdown - absolutely loved mine but money talks :nomouth: :tearsofjoy: beautiful inside and lovely to drive

My vehicle went into build w/c 5th July, I've just received this response when I asked for an update:- "The vehicle is still in production due to a delay and work is due to commence by the end of this week." Not so sure I will be seeing my vehicle anytime soon unfortunately :disappointed:

I've just contacted them and they said their system still isn't working :disappointed:

Just been advised that the system is still down and they are hopeful it will be back up and running this week at some point... :nomouth:
