Yes mate I only do things properly. OEM style. Headlining had to come out and then they were drilled in and secured from the underside. Just as if they were a factory option. Couldn't tell any different.

My local bodyshop. Cost me about 350 all in. This included getting the roof rails painted gloss black as they were originally chrome

I agree. The centre dials on the 8V seemed a lot more user friendly and aesthetically pleasing.
The no gear stick does my head in to it doesn't look right in a RS at all. They kept them in the rest of the RS range so seems strange they've gone missing out of the 3.

Nice colour and spec ! I'm sure you'll enjoy it..I've moved to BMW now but do have a look at RS3s on autotrader every now and then..maybe one day I'll be back.

When I had my S3 8P my fans would only kick in
1. If I had been hammering the car really hard for a extended amount of time.
2. If it was a really hot day.
3. Everytime I turned the car off.

Common issue on the S3s, could be the waterpump, silicone bag could of burst, ypu might have a split in one of the coolant hoses (this is what happened to me).
