Why would a phone be inadequate for showing GPS speed? It's should be as accurate as any other speedometer which uses GPS data. Plenty of apps that can do this for free. Here's a good one for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.codesector.speedview.free

I keep voice guidance on mute, if I'm ever wondering what she has to say there's a dedicated button on the steering wheel to make her talk. :D I guess if I drove in unknown locales I might have it on but I usually find audio cues more distracting than helpful.

Having read about the handling issues of the PFL, I would definitely rather have the FL even if it's won't pop as much. I've never driven a PFL but the new cars have so much grip it's unreal. Definitely no understeer with the fatter shoes up front.

You can do the same thing manually. When you come to a stop, activate the electronic parking brake, once you apply the gas pedal the brake will be automatically released.
