If they removed subframe for any reason and didn't replace the bolts you will notice "clunks." It's an easy miss and an easy fix. They're stretch bolts and SUPPOSED to be one time use, but people reuse them all the time without realizing it.

Try checking the stretch bolts on the subframe. I've commonly seen when stretch bolts are reused they seem to allow just enough play to clunk under pressure. Doubt these were removed when doing pads, so ic oils be just a coincidence. I don't remember the torque values to use on reused bolts... I...

This is only an opinion, but the 19" S5 rotors would look perfect. You CAN fit 20" rotors. 19's just fit better.

Push it all the way open then push and hold the button on the trunk until the taillights flash. This will reprogram the opening height.

If you're looking for some deeper rotors try the b8 S5. They have 19x9 et33 with 66 CB. They will fit perfectly on a B8 Avant with 255 35 19. Not positive about UK availability...
