Ahh makes sense. It was actually after cold start come to think of it when both faults appeared. I could get some logs done on vcds yes, but don't actually have it myself. Many thanks as per Tuffty :-)

As the title says. I've recently installed a liquidgauge in my 02 s3 bam. It has worked fine for a few weeks, only this wkend it's not reading air fuel ratio ? Any ideas why ? All other gauges/readings work fine. Could it be the oxygen sensor is knacked ? Car sometimes shows up a16500 code too...

Great build tayyib hope your enjoying it, I've had the DM forge kit from INA fitted for around 16month and covered around 5-6k mile's and had no issues so far. If I remember rightly didn't simon have other issue's in the end ? Ie dodgy crank and as issam says worn pin's ?

Yea I understand the pump myth (that's why I asked) it's just that it came in the full head off kit with the rod's. Checked the fuses and they 'look' fine with no corrosion what so ever, they are seated nice an making good contact with the connector. They are well protected with contact lube...

Heaters blow hot, and it's returning back into the ex bottle so wouldn't this rule out pump ?
