We’ve got an S-line 30. Great little car. Considering the 3-cylinder 1.0 engine, it goes ok. Handling is reasonable although ride a little harsh at times. Seats and equipment pretty good too. We’ve gone for the B&O which we think is worth it.

@J4CK You can format your SD card on your Mac then drag’n’drop files (MP3, etc) on to it either in folders, which the car recognises, or just all at the top level. On your Mac you will have an application called Disk Utility. You can use this to reformat the SD card in the right format which...

@q5man do you know which vehicles the recalls impact? We took delivery August last after really lengthy delays but I believe yours it a bit older?

Actually quite nice the A1 has the same SOS and breakdown buttons in the headlining as the SQ5, so I guess the connect bits use the same SIM/data connection.

@KenL Bits of the doors are 'hard, scratchy' plastic as are some elements of centre console, but I tend to drive cars rather than scratch plastic panels with my finger nails. Yes the quality isn't right up there, but it's pretty good on the whole, especially for the cash. As requested...

@GroundZeroUK You're right, the full Connect -Weather, news, etc. - does come only in the Tech pack, but all I am looking to do is link up with MyAudi so I can use the app to check location and if its locked, etc., which is standard.

Picked up new A1 yesterday, but cannot see the Audi Connect section - to set up key user etc -in the MMI. Dealer 'registered' the car with the service yesterday, and while I guess there's probably a few new vehicles going through the system, I wouldn't have thought it would take that long to...

@Daz4311 We didn't go for the Tech Pack - a rip off for in-built nav and a bigger screen (and virtual cockpit I guess) so we're planning on using phone apps - Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze.
