I've found a solution that gives a close to OEM solution, i.e. not visible. I ended up using the glass mount antenna that came with the usb dab stick, but removed the antenna film, and soldered the connection to the spare rear window points. For me this gives a massive improvement in signal...

I had this problem. Discovered that my head unit has canbus so knows when in reverse, and then supplies 12v to a cable at the back of the unit. You can connect this to the red cable attached to the RCA cable that runs to the rear, and attach the other end of the red cable to the camera power. No...

Yes FM/AM is good with new headunit. Looking at the pictures of the new one it looks very similar to the one I already have, so I guess it's just for DAB alone. I could just run a new cable though, right? Sent from my Mi A1 using Tapatalk

Is there a way I can test this? Maybe disconnect the cables from the stereo and see if the antenna is still powered?
