My brake pad light has come in telling me to get them replaced. Until now I have been doing the yearly servicing at Audi dealer but to save some cash thinking of using an independent garage. I'm not sure what are the costs involved in servicing brakes and how much I can save going elsewhere...

Got the 255s fitted and seems well. No rubbing.

I need to fit 4 new tyres and wanted to go for the 255 width to give me more rim protection. I'm cuerently have 10mm spaces front and back with 245 tyres. Does anyone know if there will be any rubbing issues with 10mm spacers and 255 tyres? I've read some have been running 15mm spacers with 245...

I would highly recommend Yakima Whispbar. The black one look super cool on dark cars.

17inch wheels will fit on the 2017 B9 A4. I got the genuine winter wheels from a B8. The offset is different but use 10mm spacers with them that I normally run with my summer wheels and that corrects the offset virtually to what it should be in the B9. 17inch wheels do not look great on an A4...

I will need to change tyres soon on 19" rims. Does anyone know which tyre gives the most rim protection for 19' rims. I find the little bit of rubber sticking out the side of tyre too flimsy and ineffective. Are there any tyres that bulge out past the rim? Will going for wider tyre achieve this?

Do you need the handbrake hold while still reversing or at the end of parking when you turn your engine off? If it is at the end then you can code with obdeleven to automatically put the handbrake on when putting into P or turning engine off.

Never knew about this issue. The screens are connected directly into the socket so there is no adapter in between like eg the usb adapter. I presume the whole power lead will need to be replaced. However I rotated the plug a little bit inside the socket and it seem to have improved things. Will...
