Hi all. My sensors have died = long beep going into reverse. Local garage says its the central ones.
But can't say which.
A) can vcds tell me which? Anyone in Sussex able to help?
B) can I turn them off to stop the annoying beep everytime I start it & put it in reverse?

I feel your pain. I had this last year. Low oil pressure & then died. Cam chain tensioner had given up. Had a considerable rebuild on the engine - cost me about £6.5k. Its back on tje road & roaring again. Good luck
I had a similar issue that was intermittent (2.0T BUL engine). Only happened when I floored it & all of a sudden it would just stopped pulling / possibly limp mode, i would back off & then it would accelerate fine again. Sometimes it would happen repeatedly, other times once.

I've got standard halfords non aero roof bars on my avant. They never come off & have never moved since I put them on about 3 years ago. This is good for speed limiting me below 110mph, as the wind rush reminds me to slow down
What size tips have everyone got? I've just had a quote for a Powerflow exhaust (£600) & they suggested 4" tips - which sounds terrifying..
I'm used to my 2.0tfsi standard tips (which are probably 2.5").

I'm bumping this. As I'm really happy with the results. The car is making me smile again. Like it did when I 1st got it. It's definitely more responsive at lower revs & faster overall with it pulling nicely through the gears. I expect it will blow up next week.but this week I'm really pleased...
