It looks like this chap has done it, albeit with 380mm discs. https://youtu.be/yyuIJSqpmwo?si=IOEKhWFdBrxQWkr6

    Allroad 3.0 272 brakes

Hi all, I've got a 2015 allroad that I'm going to do front disks and pads on, I've also got a set of refurbed calipers from the biTDI with 2 pistons that use the 356mm discs rather than the 345mm that are currently on there. My plan is to swap over the calipers and put on the bigger disks and...

    Brake Problems

Not sorted it yet, still juddering, I've got a set of old A8 brakes (like the bitdi) to fit when I get round to it. I'm hoping it's a front disc problem. Then I'll probs do all the front suspension arms, then it'll be time to get a new car probably.

    Allroad-getting old

Evening all, I have an allroad from 2015 which I really like, its getting a bit long in the tooth, coming up to 120k miles. In the past I've had both front wheel bearings replaced, its now making some noise again and I'm going to be doing the rears, can anyone confirm if the fronts and the...

Is it too late to change S-Tronic oil?

I had mine done today at a local independant, 36k miles since it was last done and its noticably smoother, money well spent.

    Radio when put in reverse

There is a setting in the MMI where you can change how loud the radio is when the parking sensors are on.

    Brake Problems

thats really interesting, the lower, rear, inner bush on the front wheels is really floppy, I think that they are meant to be like that but am not sure. The bush looks intact but that may be something to look at.

    Brake Problems

I've not solved it yet, new rear discs and pads seem to have helped a bit, I've done a runout check on the fronts and they were in spec, I'm going to do the same on the rear when I get half a chance, hopefully that will point to something!

    Brake Problems

Thanks both, I've just checked runout on the front, .05mm and I've read anything less than .08mm is good. I did notice the big bush on the rear, lower arm seems pretty floppy on both sides, no knocking or split rubber tho, I'm guessing with the size of it that it's meant to have some movement...

    Brake Problems

Thanks, thats a great shout, the bushes etc. are all in pretty good nick, the only question mark I have is that it has a non genuine front upright on one side which makes me wonder about hub runout. I can check that. As for the wheel then its only when on the brakes that there is any judder, it...

    Brake Problems

Hi all, I've got a single turbo 2015 allroad (272), its always suffered with brake judder, about a year ago I changed all the discs and pads which cured it for a short while but it came back. I can't feel the judder through the steering wheel but through the car, a bit like a disc has a grippy...

    Coolant leak from somewhere

I had mine looked at a couple of months ago, I told the garage what car it was and it was using a small amount of coolant and they suggested straight away that it might be the oil cooler, the v was wet and they've done quite a few on this engine type. It was more expensive to fix than I'd hoped...

    Map Update

I did this as well on my 2015 C7.5. Android auto would be way better with touch screen but even using the click wheel it works well. Google maps, waze, spotify and android assistant are all you need and way better than the installed systems.

    A/C drains

It's definitely not right, if I'm driving down the road then everything is fine, it starts raining and the car fogs up. Also I sit in the car for 10 minutes with nothing turned on (maybe I'm working on something) then turn it on, the windows fog up straight away. The climate control is actively...

    A/C drains

No smells in particular and if the weather is dry there is no problem, if it's damp it fogs up pretty quick. Sticking the screen demist sorts it for a while but it comes back as soon as you revert to auto mode.
