Your best bet in regards to service/ workshop manuals is to register for free on erwin.audi.com, explore the site a bit, then pay 8 euro for an hour and you'll be able to download what you need.
That's what I did. Paid for an hour and got official, up to date manuals and service bulletins with...
The car the replacement ECU came from may have had different options than yours.
Eg. Auto trans vs. Manual, fwd vs. quattro etc.
Yes there's a chance it'll be plug and play but more likely not. You'll need someone with vcds to do it for you. It's not a DIY job unless you know what to change in...
Damn that sucks. Yes ideally you want the same pn ECU. SW version shoudl be close to yours as well. Many modules will likely have to be coded, enabled/disabled anyway (eg. If you get ECU from manual car it'll have to be coded for auto etc.)
Electricity doesn't like water, looks like your issues surface when car gets wet . Inspect fuse box for water ingress / corrosion.
Remove plastic cowling below windscreen and check your ECU or the cables aren't swimming in puddle of water
Best check this thread for rims/tyre sizing https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/the-rimz-thread-look-here-before-requesting-pics-of-specific-wheels.93198/
I have 235x35 r19. 8.5J, ET45, my car is lowered and I absolutely hate the wide wheels. They rub and I can't give it proper beans in the...
Heay. Hmm mine come apart, maybe they were taken apart in the past. Try to pry along the split line see if it opens. If not then you have to lube it and slide them out to drill or file the bracket apart (it's just pressed together). If it wont come off when lubed the rb has to come off which is...
Not overly complicated nor too easy.
Pop the wheel to take a look, if the bolts aren't too rusty it's doable without much having to come off.
Can't attach a pic as on mobile
I second that. Definitely worth paying for at least the minimum amount of hours to explore the page then pay for longer access to download what you need.
It's a bit of a pain to navigate but literally everything can be exported as pdf.
For the 2.0 there were 3 engine generations EA113, EA888 g1/g2. Not everything is mutually interchangeable the more between 113 and 888. Only some parts fit between 888 g1 and g2.
It's always best to shop parts in accordance with engine number and specs sheet (the codes on sticker in the boot)...
Sorry to hear you're having trouble and nobody is getting back to you. Not much xp on the 2.0 n/a myself.
I assume you reset the codes and it came back? The egr valve has a plastic cog inside and it tends to shear. Could it perhaps be a perished hose though since you're getting fault at both...
So, I did read up and research . Interestingly the workshop manual doesn't have schematics for it but mentions the secondary air pump on CBFA. My initial assumption that it's breather recirc was wrong, since it's secondary air pump inlet there will be no harmful gases/oil evaporation. But it...
