i managed to get cambelt-tenioner and w/pump from TPS for 160 odd quid, then paid a guy to fit it for me for another 100, worth getting the bits yourself mate as if you just chuck it at the garage and say do this your basically writing them a blank cheque..!!

almost certainly waterpump broken up, i had the exact same problem with my old a3 18t, the impeller breaks away from the shaft and so no longer circulates the coolant, there prone for it mate.... made if plastic thats why!! not sure if they do an alumnium replacement? would be the best option...

Right I'm wanting to swap out the mk1 xenons from my s3 and put some facelift ones in, can anyone tell me how to adjust the wiring so I can fit an aftermarket 8000k hid kit to the original wiring? As I understand the xenons that are in it run a different set up??

hi bud, are they aftermarket headlights on your s3? in your sig.... im wanting to put some black projectors in mine but there only listed for the a3? and they reakon they wont work on the s3 as it runs xenons? is this right? cheers Ryan
