MY TTRS suffers from the same problem, if i release the ignition key and soon after crank it up again it takes even longer for the engine to get going.
Fuel pump primes only on turn of ignition.

About the window motor you can try to replace the motor's brushes, i had the same problem and i replaced them and fixed the problem albeit is a bit slow...
Problem with that is if you do have a bingle is what's behind the intercooler that gets damaged.
I had to replace condenser and radiator, intercooler didn't get a scratch.
I noticed that on my mate's TT 180 fwd that his pump primes longer, about 3 seconds, that it does on my car with is about 1 second.
Am i right on thinking that this is something programmed in the ECU and not relays related since it gets its input from the ECU?
And what can be done to increase...

I believe the blocks are 001 and 031 and post them up.
Or alternately fit a fuel pressure gauge in line just before the injector rail and go for a spirited drive, preferably with a passenger so he can watch fuel pressure behavior.

I replaced the rear diff oil back in Feb when i carried out the major service.
I used nulon preformance smooth shift 75w-90.
It meets gl-5 G50 requirements.
I do have this fault and it pops up from time to time ( ESP light remains on till next start up).
Hate to think what would cost this sensor at local audi dealer here down under.
