Car has just had its first service and one of the items on the checksheet was "Software update for control unit" Anybody any info on what changes they are making to the ECU? Thanks

Part number is 4M0 601 173 B, just ordered them thru my local Dealer, note this part number is for the standard bolt cover, not the ones for the locking wheel nuts

Yep, same problem, just bought 10 new ones! Discovered that the new ones are a much tighter fit than the ones the car came with which were rattle fit at best, despite having the same part numbers. Will probably end up replacing all of the remaining ones as well!

Two main differences I have found are: 1. Handling: The balance on the later model is better, not so no nose driven when pushing hard 2. Gearbox: Revised software seems to work better, especially on the down shifts

Picked it up today. Obviously early days yet, but the one thing that is apparent compared to the Mk1 RS3 is the ride quality with the Mag Dampers, much improved. Tomorrows the big day!!!!

Its arrived!!! Just got this through from the dealer this morning, should be able to pick up sometime next week!

Its been built and at the docks awaiting shipment allegedly!! I say with some caution as I was one of those people caught up in the fiasco of the last RS3 delivery schedules, where it took a year to arrive!! So fingers crossed this time, it should be here in a few weeks

Just been informed by my dealer, the car is being built week beginning 8th of June so as soon hopefully available mid/late July.

Order in with Highland Audi in Inverness, no details as yet regarding build date

Compared to the current buckets these look a bit disappointing IMO, only time will tell how comfortable they are to sit in?
