I don’t know that they did anything software related, but they could have done. They checked for a fault with the gearbox so might have had it on the computer to look for codes, I’m not sure. Still no satellite maps this morning

Has anyone else’s google maps and live traffic not been working today? I am sure it was working over the weekend, although I had the car serviced towards the end of last week and can’t be certain I’ve seen it working since. All of the settings show they should be working, but they arent. TIA

Even when the lights were set on auto it showed the sidelight icon on the dash during the day indicating that they were lit all the time, as if it was set with the sidelights permanently on. The dash also showed the lights on warning when the ignition was turned on or off.

Maybe, but I had mine on auto and it gave the warning when the door was open which was annoying. When the guy who put it back to factory plugged his laptop in he told me the car know that changes had been made to the light operation, whatever that means, perhaps the previous owner didn’t know...

Thanks for your reply. That’s what I had suspected, that it should just drl’s in daylight. On mine the lower portion lights just above the bumper are lit all the time. I think I’m going to try to get them back to ‘factory’ settings.

It’s something that it is free for equipped vehicles. In the Merc A35 I have just traded in for the RSQ3 it had the functionality to do stuff such as remote lock/unlock but it was all optioned so you had to pay an annual fee for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
