Only got limited experience with this but I have also noticed the steering is a bit heavy but put this down to how audi wanted to make the car feel, ie a bit sporty. Presume its normal, just check the fluid level as it can get a bit noisy if its low.

Need to service my DV and had a quick look under the bonnet but noticed the DV seems to well obstructed by various pipes and the strut brace, or whatever its called. Is it just me being a bit lame and really not that much bother or is it fairly tricky to get at for all?!

I know its a bit sad but i've used this before when I've had a puncture and had to use the space saver wheel. The damn things only let you go about 50mph and its so easy to forget its on and you can't help but floor it down a slip road!

So true! I blame annoying things that go wrong with it, that shouldn't, on wear and tear and then round down the cost so she doesn't moan as much. She is determined that the car needs to go but I can't bear to part with it, whatever I own will cost money.
