Mine still runs on Dual K-line. There is a cut off in 2002 then the A4 became CAN. So I dont get light errors. And I am now running these LED lights too. Without cancellers.

Have you created a permanent live? There is a kit that does all the connections but the permenant live which is the PC9-401. That will sort out your illumination too.

That's my thinking too, this is information from the seller but looks like they are from an A6 Allroad or RS4 from a bit of research. Possibly optional.

You may have to drain coolant system and remove thermostat before you can check, you'll have to see if the plastic has broken and gone towards the impeller. It's a job I am looking to do.
