Starter Motor?
Hi, thanks for replying - No, it doesn't sound as if it's still engaged, more like a high pitched whine after the engine starts up which tails off after a second or two. Hope I don't need a new starter motor, as Links in Macclesfield quoted about £117 for the part plus £435 labour!!! -

After turning the key to start, the starter motor seems to whine for a second after the engine has started... Not owned the car for long so not used to A2 quirks yet. Should I be concerned? It is an '02 1.4 38k petrol. Thanks... -

Interior Health Hazard
Just bought '02 A2 - fabulous super mini, suffering from severe lack of interior TLC... superficial valeting promised by the seller only scratched the surface, and when I got it home was horrified to find large areas of green mould in between rear seats, sticky sweets, a rotten apple core...
