I have this on my Octavia but only used it once so far. The manual does say that if the cars you are parking between are parked on the curb then it will not work perfectly, I guess the same is true if the two cars are much narrower?

The USB socket (at least in my Octavia) is under powered anyway, I think it is limited to it 500mA so it's just enough to keep a phone going if you are using it but won't really charge it unless it's switched off. Better to use a good 12v charger instead.

Got this on my Octavia and it's basically a place to shove your phone and it boosts the signal... apparently? Not sure exactly what it looks like on the A3 but the inside has a rubber bottom which stops the phone sliding about and a lid that closes, which mostly leads to me forgetting my phone...

How much power are you losing when it's not responsive. If it's really sluggish it might be your engine going in to limp mode although I would have thought you'd get a warning light if that happened.

Out of curiosity where did you look up the parts list BTW? Is there a website you find the parts lists for the different engines?

Yeah I was looking at that, it will take it from 150ps to 200ps which is pretty great, and will probably be more than enough. Was just wondering if there was actually any difference between the engines as sometimes its purely a different map on the same engine.

Thanks guys, injectors would be a bit more costly than a better turbo I guess to retrofit. Nice to know what the difference is anyway :)

Is there a physical difference between the 150ps and 184ps or is it just a different map? Just wondering whether it has a better intercooler, turbo or something? If it's just a different map then eventually they should both be remappable/chippable to the same output, but otherwise you'd have to...
