    Thanks so much Vappy! Very informative. I'll have to get it gutted but looks like I'll have to get it put on a trailer to MRC afterwards as it will go straight into limp mode after the dpf is gutted unless I can find a local mapper to me that doesn't overwrite the MRC map.

    Gaz they're about an hours drive from my house, wouldn't the car go into limp mode as soon as I drive it after gutting the dpf.

    Thanks Gaz. They're very expensive so I'm hoping it's not too much for them to do a dpf delete.

    I've already blanked the EGR and had a software delete on it. Will a software dpf delete remove my remap from MRC?

    Thanks, yea I know this but I was wondering if it was possible to gut the DPF with it still in place by removing the heat shield and sensors then cutting a flap, removing the inards & rewelding back up. No point in me getting a remap afterwards as I've already maxxed out at 330bhp with the...

    Only a visual inspection (which you can hardly see) and my friend who is does my MOTs said he'd gut the dpf for me.

    Can't afford the 5hrs labour to remove the dpf completely & bought the £300 backbox for noise but zero difference :(
