Could you measure the internal diameter of your standard tips please?

Has anyone been anal enough to remove their exhaust tips for cleaning/upgrade purposes yet? I'm looking to find out the internal diameter and whether or not they'd be a straight swap on to an 8V S3.

Does anybody know if the 8Y exhaust tips would be a straight swap onto the 8V?

Is that specifically for a 7 speed facelift?

Does anyone know what the service interval is on the facelift 7 speed gearbox? I'm getting conflicting opinions of 40k and 80k miles.....

If the car is under warranty then push for them to do something about as it has definitely been recognised as issue by Audi. As above mine was more at 60mph plus. The car went in and they did something with it, seemed to make a slight difference but didn't resolve it all together. If yours is...

I don't think so but I would assume re-fitting or replacing the door seal. Can't see what else they could do other than maybe adjusting the hinges? (Not sure if there's any in/out adjustment on hinges)

I booked my car in to have this done at the same time as the mystery subwoofer settings. They were actually aware of both issues which was a huge bonus. Subwoofer controls sorted, wind noise slightly better but still definitely there. (affects driver side only on my car.)
