so are u talking about the plastic mesh? or the small single layer of metal mesh behind that?

ive been told it helps and it wouldnt effect the running of the car.. because nothing can get through due to the filter, so arn't they only restrictors? so i wouldnt gain at all from doing it?

Just baught a new MAF was just curious about de-restricting it... how do i get the plastic bits out each end? and does both of them come and and stay out so its basically hollow apart from the sensor in the middle??? thanks
