Sorry for late reply... obviously very inactive.
At the time I had AutoGlanz Hydreseal... which is a spray sealant and this was repeated for maintenance washes for 6 consecutive times. ‘Zero’ just cleaned up the “pores” of my paint which kind of reactivated it, didn’t lose any hydrophobic...
With the DAS 6 V2 you can change for a 3.5” pad using the 3.5” backing plate.
The pro can do this and also do one better as it’s a more powerful machine. Both will be good for a newbie, some even keep it and don’t bother to upgrade.

I found ZERO to clean well but not to remove LSP even through foam lance & shampoo, but I didn’t expect this from it.

Ah! Understood. They should’ve corrected the scratches before “protection” any Detailer would say that. You could still fight it but guaranteed you’ll be going back n forth so it’s probably not worth the hassle.

In regards to the paint protection which may or may not help you, if you wish to do it.
Take pic of scratches.
Go to an IMI Accredited Detailer for a detail or to prove that there are scratches and no paint protection (usually there is near enough none from dealer) take video evidence.
