I think the key is to use 2 specialised glass cloths. Once to wipe with the product and another to remove. Another tip that works for me is to only wipe the product cloth in one direction, otherwise you end up spreading the dirt you've just removed back onto the clean area. this may help Sent...

I have seen these, also AVA. My only slight concern is they haven't been around that long to see how reliable they are. For example poor build quality is known about with the Karcher pumps. Nilfisk is not exempt either. I've been warned off the D series as they use carbon brushes in the motor...

I've got the opportunity to potentially buy a nearly new one of these from a relative of a friend. Are these a decent reliable model in the Nilfisk range please. This may sound pedantic but do you mean wax / sealant rather than polish ? In the detailing world a polish is something abrasive used to remove defects from your paint and a wax / sealant then is applied to protect the nice shiny paint. Not being funny but you will probably get better answers...

That's an interesting idea. There appears to be mixed opinions on whether washing up liquid removes wax or the surfactants in it disguise the beading until you wash the car again. I accept it will probably degrade it but certainly mechanical methods work or stronger chemicals such as bar keepers...
