S8 D3 Electrical fault, low voltage?

Hi all, coming back to these forums as I have recently bought another Audi, I have a 2007 Audi S8, it was imported around a year ago from Japan, car is in excellent condition and has been very well looked after by a Japenese Businessman as the sole owner since new until it was imported. Aside...

What to look for 4.2V8 auto

Hey all, I've decided to come back to audi ownership, I'm going to pick up a 2009, S5 4.2 automatic on Saturday. It's done 83k miles, and has full service history. What should I be in the lookout for? Thanks in advance.

    Stuttering after new EGR

Update: Scanned with ODB and I got just one fault P0406 I cleared the fault and the eml light cleared after driving around, the problem is still there but the eml light hasn't come back on. I believe the new egr unit I have is cheap and doesn't work properly

    Stuttering after new EGR

Hi All, I just replaced my EGR valve, upon going out for a test drive, the car stutters/hesitates at low revs. Anything below 2k and it'll hesitate upon gentle acceleration. If I plant my foot it sometimes stutters and sometimes doesn't. Turbo boosts perfectly fine, and there is minimal...

    Speakers not working - Concert

Thanks for the Input guys, I've ordered some radio pins and a **** load of door clips, I'll take everything apart and check for loose/broken wires. Any idea how to pull the rubber boot apart in the door? I was pulling at that and I think that's what broke the passenger side speaker all...

    Speakers not working - Concert

Hi All, My Mrs '08 plate A3 is having a strange radio problem, at the front only the two tweeters work and the rear speakers don't work at all. When she turns the volume up the front lower speakers start working, but then stop on lower volumes, after having a poke around in the lower A pillar...

    Wheel shaking at speed

LostUlsterman Thank you, that is very very interesting, I had a new clutch and DMF fitted about a year ago, recently I have noticed that the release bearing is really squeaky. I wouldn't have thought about the clutch reference this. Might explain why mine is intermittent.

    Wheel shaking at speed

Update: I'm starting to think my new tyres/wheels aren't balanced properly. I can't seem to find any problem other than one side has Cooper grease in between the hub and disc and one side doesn't. Could this be causing fairly aggressive vibration between 50-70mph? Thanks all

Is my car a rare one off??

Sounds odd, when you reg check, it comes up as a 3.0tdi registered in 2009, but that's definitely a B7, nice one off car!

    Wheel shaking at speed

Hi all, bit late but I've finally managed to get a few hours to spend to have a look at this. Firstly all the tyres look fine, the wheels look straight and I can't see any cracks or signs of a buckle, it doesn't look like any weights have fallen off the wheels either. The brake discs look and...

    Wheel shaking at speed

Yeah, when the garage fitted the new tyres (after the bulges) they re balanced them, they're fairly reputable so it's unlikely they've balanced the wheels wrong.
