For a little under £50 you can get a kit that replaces your ODB with one that is live but transfers no data, your “real” ODB is extended to another location of your choosing. By the time they realise it’s not working they will likely scarper.

I did mine, took a bit of fiddling to get it just right and operating smoothly. Looks loads better, went for a second hand s-tronic version for under £30 rather than £150 for the cheapest second hand S4 version I could find.

Forge do them. I had them on my first S4 and all good. My new one has sport diff and I removed the mounts after a quick drive as I got the whine some owners report.

I saw a couple of mpg increase on my DSG car after going APR stage 1. Interestingly enough it’s still worse on fuel than my old manual stage 2 car.
