Audi just quoted me £16.79 per litre for their geabox oil. He could not tell the grading ............. or is not allowed to. You need 2.4 litres too. Hope this helps.

Hi guys, In a few weeks i am havin my gearbox reconditioned as the synchro's have gone in 2nd and 3rd. (6 speed manual). Also replacing the clutch and changing the gearbox oil. Can someone tell me what gearbox oil i need to use and how much i need. Thanks in advance.

Can anyone tell me what the letters mean at the end of the part number on an A4 Cabriolet headlight? i.e. Mine is 8H0 941 004 AD and as it is a bit chipped i was gunna get a different one but this has a part number 8H0 941 004 C. Are they different? If so how? Thanks all that help.

The answer is NO. I have a cabby with a knackered siren and have asked many people and tried using VCDS to link to horn but unable to do so. I even asked at alarm specialist if he could fit a different siren, obviously louder, but he sort of refused to do the job. OMG its only an Audi A4, not a...

I too was stuck in the same sort of scenario. i opted for the 2.5 TDi Sport model as the insurance was lower and fuel economy would be far greater......... unless you drive like Lewis !!

Thanks for your replies guys, however i did PM both of them yesterday but as yet no reply. As you can imagine i am in a bit of a hurry to get the alarm siren especially as i have a cabriolet.

Yeah you're completely correct, the sensors are probably knackered as they dont have any rubbers protecting them. I was just trying to cut corners. I will give this Cobra kit a go and repost when fitted.
