Oh yes so we did - and we have the same issue approaching 7 years later, neither of us having done anything about it! I got a quote from Mr Clutch ===== Clutch kit supplied and fitted, including VAT: £978.82 Dual mass flywheel (if needed) price supplied and fitted: £529.50 Dual mass flywheel...

2015 1.4 TSFI COD clutch judder

Symptom is a clutch judder when pulling way. Been doing it for 10,000's miles - finally asking here - Can be temporarily (for a few days or weeks) cleared by getting it hotter by partially engaging it for a few seconds with handbrake on (but without any burning smells!) - Seems to get...

I know you said you've had it for years, but has this correlated with the colder weather?

    VAG G 052 164 M2 Winter Screenwash

Anyone know the cheapest place to buy this on-line? It's one of pricier ones but the only one I've found that doesn't block the rear washer. Best I can find so far is £12.95/l delivered https://www.amazon.co.uk/concentrated-clear-frost-protection-70-%C2%B0C/dp/B006E7Z40Y

Did you have it new? If not the previous owner may have had it remapped and not told you.

    What dash buttons are these?

Worse than that, when I was looking for a 2nd hand car a few years ago I saw one with the switch by the gear lever for 'Nav' fitted even with the car not specced with a nav option. Trying to use it gave a 'not installed' message of similar. A real button/switch that does nothing is worse than a...

    Tyre or other damage?

Was a bent alloy, obvious when the wheel was spun with the car off the ground. Now fixed. Amazing it wasn't at least an advisory on the MOT. Maybe not considered dangerous?? (£150 fix from the nice folk at Alloy Weldcraft in High Wycombe. Diagnosed and sorted whilst I waited and watched, which...

    Tyre or other damage?

Will give it a go, but the sound was there when they did the MOT, so they would have spotted something like that I suspect?

    Tyre or other damage?

I have P Zeros. No visible damage, plenty of tread, and car's just gone through a MOT ok. 3rd party tyre pressure sensors don't show one tyre running at a higher temp either. When driving I hear low frequency thumping noise, only just audible, that seems to be in time with the wheel rotation...

Oil is completely black after 10k km

This. A good oil removes cr*p from the engine and keeps it in suspension in the oil, turning it darker. Better it's in the oil than stuck on the parts of your engine :-)

Respray due to keyed panels :-(

Thanks - will check them out "Usual suspects"? Who, and have you any experience of any? Had a chat with Bucks Bodyfix in Chesham - aprox £950 :-(

Respray due to keyed panels :-(

So I have a white A3 that's had one door, one rear quarter panel, and the tailgate keyed. Doesn't look like I will be able to do a satisfactory repair myself. Anyone got any recommendations for a bodyshop in High Wycombe or Amersham (Bucks) areas that will do a good job?
