I tend to go off ebay for realistict prices.. However, the nearest s3 to me is over 100miles away from me and priced £1.2k higher than i priced mine. So i think im off the mark a bit.

I serviced mine earlier today. Used heaps of the red grease and mine hasnt "stuck" yet. Did you clean under the old seals before putting the new ones in? as mine had a lot of graphite coloured stuff in the grooves.

Another S3 owner on here from Plymouth. Hardly ever see any.

I used to get a problem with hesitation between 3-4k rpm on my AMK s3. Turned out to be no'4 coilpack (the awkward one) lifting up... almost like air pressure holding it upward so it doesnt seat properly. I simply put a cut in the rubber around the top coilpack seal and its been fine since.

Hi ASN. Just a quicky, I have been having a few boost issues recently... and seems im just chasing my tail. I have no boost leaks (multiple smoke tests have confirmed.) Whats it worth logging via vcds?. [003,020,115 + 002,106,118?] Im using Vagcom 3.11 so not sure if all these blocks are...

Ok, in between rain spells today. I checked the hose from n75 to actuator- Thats fine. Checked the Manni to Dv hose, looked fine and replaced it anyway. Popped the DV off and opened her up. It was a bit dirty inside, few oiley smudges. When i re assembled i thought i would check the operation...

Haha.. I too have used Tigerseal to stiffen engine mounts on previous cars. Unfortunatly there isnt much left of my shifter bushes. I think ill go for it and fit the 42dd ones see how they fare.

How can an epoxy rubber offer the same performance as machined alloy? would you trust a sikaflex wheel?

Are you certain the Dv isnt working?. it Doesnt sound metallic. As i said, i smoke tested it today.. No leaks! none, nothing, natta.

Are yours ball type Karl?. Im pretty sure mines pin type (looked at them earlier today)
