Today I purchased a car I never thought I would own. A 4.2L V8 Audi S5 Tiptronic. It is in exceptional condition and has been meticulously cared for by the previous owner. Having had a total of only 4 owners & 78,000 miles the car feels absolutely perfect and cannot fault any part of the driving experience. This is my first experience with a car that isn't a small hatchback, having just come from an Audi 8P S3 and whilst the size of the car seems intimidating at first, it's a really lovely car to drive.
I also got very lucky with the spec of the car, sporting my favourite ivory coloured interior, and a darker exterior, with this particular car being finished in an Audi Exclusive colour! I believe it is called "pacific blue" however I cannot find much information on the colour, I may phone Audi to try and determine the colour as the paint code is blank on the boot sticker. But I'm sure our local exclusive paint expert @jassyo06 will know!
The car is completely stock and some of the desirable options it has includes Bang & Olufsen Sound System, Keyless Entry, Technology Pack High (nav plus, phone prep, etc), Carbon Fibre Trim, Cruise Control, 20" 9j 7-arm twin spoke alloy wheels. The list goes on. As this is my first of this platform of Audi, I would appreciate any advice & things to look out for on these models. I know the 4.2 V8 engines & Tiptronic box are supposed to be reliable. The car has been serviced regularly using Millers Nano drive and plugs have all been done recently, so I am happy on that front.
I look forward to browsing this part of the forum and seeing everyone's cars.
