The only thing I could say at this point if you have both the items is to mock them up and see if any modifications need to be made obviously you know the downpipe fits presumably they are both 2.5 inches in bore looking at the images I don't see why it wouldn't fit at this point but you need to offer it up to the car to see precisely what's going on.

Some body help me out here Will this fit my 2001 a3 8l?having a nightmare finding a relatively priced exaust system its hard work!
