Hi guys,

New to the forum as a recently new RS3 owner. I've been considering a remap and leaning towards Revo.

Had a conversation with their hq today and they're expecting to release their stage 2 software as early as next month.

Just thought others may be interested!

This isn’t the stage 2 software that was due about 2yrs ago?!

I though all major tuners where discontinued there stage 2 sw these days!
The race-cat'ed DP's or start piped DP's are not emission complient!

APR got swallowed by a big corporation so that's why I think they went that way. You can still pass an mot with a sports cat in the UK.

I don't think it's so much because APR got swallowed up by a big company, but more like that in the USA, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has started fining companies that produce tuning parts that would bypass/reduce the "clean features" of cars big sums of money. With APR being an American company, it doesn't make sense for them to produce something that isn't able to be sold to their largest customer base.

But agreed - a big company probably has less of an appetite for a large fine on a recent acquisition.

I was also thinking about the Revo stage 2. But am a little puzzled with torque curve from their website. How come the torque deeps at 2600-3500 rpm, supposedly the sweet spot for acceleration
