So I'm currently on the train with the Mrs and my boy from Newcastle to London, then onto Kent to see the S6 and all being well, we'll be driving her back home .

Any tips on what to check/look out for?

Wow you are for certain dedicated, really hope this is the one!

No personal experience but air suspension can be expensive if there are any faults, not sure how you'd check it apart from operation as any leaks generally seem to show overnight.

Scrutinise the service history, Look into when the gearbox will need an oil change; factor that into price. MOT history all tally up? What warranty work has been done on its at all possible to see these days do to the secrecy act. Any painted panels? Check the rear cubby areas and spare tyre well for current/previous water ingress.
Just be vigilant and dont let your heart rule your head

Was driving home guys. Just got back at 9 and been having some beer and pizza lol
Car is mechanically sound and drives great. Some paint related issues which can be sorted but got 1500 quid off so I'll take care of the body work with that..

Windows tinted, wheels and dechrome first on the list. Followed by more noise from this awesome v8

350 miles home....... 27mpg

Very nice, emotions must of kept you going for the long day, but a great result!

Quickly swap the wheels before the BiTdi goes

Congrats!!!

I wouldn't worry about the mpg, it's not the car is about. Just enjoy the car.

Lol wow Sandra, seems like yesterday we got the Bitdi. Never would have thought I'd have a v8 3 years on

Some early things I love and some not so much.

Love the interior ambient lighting in the door cards and on the outside handles is cool.
The sunroof is cool
Headlights are fantastic

No smart key on this one so no keyless entry. Engine doesn't stop when open drivers door etc.

Not loving the chrome or the wheels or the lack of tint. All of which will be getting sorted soon enough.
