For some reason, 2nd hand values have plummeted in the last week or two ?
The guy that sold mine said it looks like values are dropping back now a little.

My cars dropped from £28950 to £27150 in the past month
It’s about time used prices generally settled really. Things were getting silly.
When I was in an Audi dealership the other week asking about RS3, one of the Sales Guys was talking to receptionist saying," no we aren't buying any more vehicles at moment (well unless its something interesting). Find out what it is..."
But I think winter market is probably a fair comment and things may bounce back in spring unless supply of new cars picks up. From what I understand, its still a couple of quarters away from the chip shortage correcting itself. Could we see strong prices into 2022 as well?

I want to buy a fast doggo wagon to go alongside my rs3 so my fingers are crossed prices drop so I can pick something up in the new year…
When I went to order mine, I was all set to go for Velvet Purple, but was put off by the salesman's estimate of "a few months more than a standard colour".Oh Lord.

Ended up going for Mythos (again!), as the only standard colour that I could live with on a standard car with shiny silver bits.

I keep a close eye on my dealership as their RS3 demo is due (built but not in dealership) I want to catch it there before or if they decide to sell it instead of demoing it, They have a few RS cars and S3's which always catch my eye, theres also a lovely RS4 in Daytona but in the last month nothing has sold, the forecourt looks the same every time I glance over it..mind you its that time of year.
Good colour choice on standard model.

One thing that no one has mentioned regarding ongoing delayed RS3 delivery is Germany and most of the rest of Europe is not doing very well in the Covid department with lots of talk of more lockdowns
My new TTS l sold was jumping in between £47'£48 for ages then at the beginning of October it jumped to almost £51 l took it instantly although WBAC tried con me out of a grand on the day l wasn't having that at all its now up for sale at £55k and WBAC price has gone down to £47,600...it'll shoot back early next year guaranteed

Should maybe just hang on to it In to the new year then again always a risk but concensus seems to be prices dip this time of year
Did check his channel, he has ordered a Carbon Edition at the same dealer as my blank build week for Vorsprung.

I followed R8 sales for a couple of years before I got the courage (and finance's) to buy one (and whilst owning both of them over 7 years), they always fell in price at this time of year and there were a fair few advertised, come May they had gone back up in price and were very thin on the ground
Its also misleading the way he titles it ‘’Taking delivery of the new RS3’’ as if it’s his car and they obviously wouldn’t let the p**ck drive it either, that must say something as they let Volkswizard drive the same car the following day, but a shame neither of them did their homework properly before doing the video

So good news for anyone that wants to see me drive and do a video on the new RS3 - my dealer says they have the demo car in so trying to schedule some time next week when back from LA.
As regards YouTube titles - AH does annoy me as he doesn't need clickbait titles as he has 324k subs! But it is obvious from his videos he is an attention seeking person who always has to be contentious. And no such thing as bad publicity as every time someone complains someone else clicks the video to see why T-1000 is complaining...

Breaking news that orders are delayed and there is no interior design pack, and very limited options
Just had my order update. I’m at status 00 which I can only assume is some sort of James Bond reference and that it’s top secret to everyone involved when it’s actually going to be built

So what makes you think September 2022 for delivery if your already on a status l think your on to a April to May delivery like l was quoted before l changed colour

They will likely order another for me and when it looks like it’s coming in time for a September delivery put the first car up for sale.
But either way it’s their issue as that’s the agreement we have in place.
