Sporatic door speaker distortion.

Hi as the post says the passenger front door speak now and again distorts even at low volumes.
Only happens now and again and its annoying.
Any ideas how the cover comes off so I can check the speaker and wires?
I don't want to go in and break any clips.

I guess I have the same issue. There is a distortion coming out of the speaker even at lower levels. It doesn't sound as a mechanical fault (such as rattling sounds).
Sometimes it's the front left woofer, sometimes the front right one.

Did you get it fixed?

I had this during warranty....weird buzzing in time with the sound at low volumes, talk radio etc. New speaker needed.

It was definitely the speaker itself, rather than surrounding trim etc

Good to know, thank you.
The problem disappeared for two weeks, now is back.
I guess I should replace the driver then.
