Mega important one this, but I just wondered if anyone who has taken delivery could confirm what style washer jets are used I.e. fan or jet. I put the fan style ones on my S3 so was going to pull them off and refit the others if the 8y still has the jet style. If not, or if the design is completely different I'll leave them on for part ex.
On a similar theme, can anyone confirm if the wipers are same length as the 8v?

The LE I tested for my sons had jets which I hated as My 14 year old Mk5 Golf GTi ED even has fan/mist type washers

I’m a Plasterer during first lockdown there was a massive plaster shortage, and what was left for trades was being brought up and sold for 4 times the amount, loads of the lads selling it was called Imran, he is at it again with the Rs3s now ***

It’ll be that but most of the cars they sell are modified and they often do lots of work for customers pre sale, adding carbon bits, wheels etc, also have links with MRC for tuning, not that that’s possible yet.

Gotcha! I just clocked the FB post and that they’re doing ‘some bits’ to it before it’s up for sale, so I assume you lads are right and they’ll be modding it a bit.

It’ll no doubt be the best looking one for sale. The owner of the company is sound as well. Stuff they knock out is in a different league BUT they charge a, deserving, premium for it, be interesting to see the price on this though given the market for stock cars!
Almost sold my M2 comp to them last year for a strong price but got a last min higher offer locally.

So I tell a lie it was my RS3 I nearly sold to them, not my M2 Comp… that went back to BMW who weren’t as ‘sound’, car still went up for 5k more than they paid for it

also has adaptive cruise as standard which is a nice surprise!Got a feeling TPMSgate is going to replace steeringwheelgate.
Really looking forward to my base spec next week, goodness knows what it'll have on it, feels like a lucky dip. Maybe we should do options bingo versus our ordered spec!

Found this OEM 360 camera kit direct from the manufacturer Audi use if anyones interested, it comes with fitting instructions too! Turns out the rear camera isn’t 360 ready apparently
Deffo the first mod I’ll be doing, when my car eventually arrives.
They don’t have the TPMS kit available yet but hopefully they will in good time so we can all build the car we actually wanted.

i think rear camera be ok as car should have front camera loom . So i think be worth to check if then get front camera and mirrors and coding should be cheaper

Do you reckon the current mirrors will have spaces (filled holes) for the cameras or would we need to replace the housing as well?

It's pretty annoying that you get something like £500 off for the 360 camera coming off as an option but it costs over £2k in parts alone to retrofit.

That kit says it includes "2x Exterior Mirrors incl. Camera". Surely that means it includes the housings... I'd like to think so at that price
Test driving the demo at my dealer tomorrow. Will upload photos to the appropriate thread and give my impressions etc.
Also going to take the dragy box and see if we can manage to get a few 0-60s in!

Finally, got my demo drive booked with my Dealer on Monday AM. They were supposed to get 4 LE's and finally got just 1, delivered last week, so will be a static demo car. Luckily some of the Carbon orders placed with them are also turning up over the next week or so to be handed over.
