Hi all, I’ve recently had my clutch changed on my 2003 S3 BAM, been driving it lightly for a week and I noticed that if you change gears quickly the revs go up a bit as you press the clutch and and if you change gear very quickly like I did from 3rd to 4th during a pull it revved highly and dropped down to normal revs for the gear and speed. I don’t know a lot about these cars so do these have something that delays the gear change, driving normally it doesn’t rev up like this only when changing gears quickly.

I’d put a fiver on the clutch switch too. I had the exact same symptoms and a new switch solved it for me.

My car is 2003 S3, same year as yours, so should be the same part number...I got my part from Audi...

I got my part from my local Audi dealer. It wasn’t expensive.
Give them your Reg number and/or VIN number and they’ll get you the correct part.
