Hi All

Looking for a little help if possible. 2018 A4 B9 S-line Quattro

The issue only happens on day where air temp is over 20 degrees, On starting up all is fine and the blower blow ice cold then after about 60 secs I get what sounds like flaps closing in the dash and the cold air stops, however the fans can sill he heard blowing.

No if I turn the interior temp up to about 26 degrees cold air starts to flow again but not a real good blowing. These 'flaps' do seem to open at random times but do again close up again.

I have looked for error but only have Carista and get the following

Heating and Air Conditioning Faults 2

327971 Manufacturer specific Code

328003 Manufacturer specific Code

So far I have not found the meanings of these codes, any help greatly appreciated,,,,,

Paul

As I have got no where with this, Its booked in on 5th July for investigation.

Thanks for looking.

I’m sure the flaps inside the vents work off a relay so potentially that could be faulty or the actual led heater control panel itself could be faulty.

Hope it’s an easy fix mate.

I have the exact same issue with my 2018 B9 SQ5.

Carista OBD scan shows:

327971 Manufacturer specific Code
328003 Manufacturer specific Code

Very helpful, I've printed if off and will leave it in the passenger seat when it goes in
This will also be useful for the Audi technician.

Evening all

Can now back from investigation work and the technician was grateful for the above information and it did help for sure.

Simply put it was the flap motor at fault and not functioning consistently.

Part required:
AUDI AIR CONDITIONING SERVO MOTOR (VARIOUS MODELS) 4M0820511A

This is now on order and will be fitted on arrival.

All covered by the warrantee I have in place

Hope this helps anyone else in the future.

Cheers Paul
