Luckily, I have only paid £250 deposit, so it would not bother me to lose that. It's annoying as I want the car. Will wait to see what update is given but suppose I will just have to learn not to bust a blood vessel every time I get an update from the dealer :tearsofjoy:

*** Interestingly, @3vans was has the earliest FACTORY order entry on our little spreadsheet for a RS3 8Y. Patiently waiting almost a year.
Few are now getting their orders slotted into early 2023, including Vorsprung orders placed in 2021 August. 15+,month wait time.
Getting a feel, the volumes of car being manufactured for UK appears to be slowing down, instead of the expected ramp-up for the 2nd half of the year. (lets hope my crystal ball gaze is wrong).

Just had an update from my dealer that my car is now on the boat. Am I getting excited? Hell yes!!

So Carbons still more or less in date of order order and Vosrprungs still seem random. Any order that you can see to the Vorsprungs @RS03??? ?

There are couple of carbons around about now due for build, Daytona Grey of @Jeff Bates and Kylami Green of @Jay 1234 then the remaining 20 or cars are lot later in the year or next year, all estimates from the dealer.

Hi Darren, if you wish your details to be added, let me know the Variant, colour, Saloon/Sportsback and date when order placed. If you have been given an estimated build week, that can also be added with the dealer details.

Just cancelled my order. Please remove from the spreadsheet.

£1000 deposit has been refunded by the dealer. However they’ve kept the order live for themselves.
 
So I finally did it today, cancelled my order and requested a refund, funnily enough complete radio silence now.
I’ve found that the wait has been consuming my life a bit so thought it was for the best to cut my losses and pursue something else.
@RS03??? ill confirm 100% later once they’ve agreed to a deposit refund.

I wish I was there to see the M3 Touring. It 's been on my radar for a year or so - I just hope exposure therapy will eventually mean I don't think it looks like Skeletor has been hit with a bat from the front.

I’ve gone straight in on an RS 4, dealer is confident of around 16 weeks for delivery. If this one goes sideways I’m giving up and getting a scooter.
I’ve just had a word with myself overnight, they’re holding my money on a vehicle it’s taking them 17 months to deliver to me, it’s not a Porsche GT product. I’ve just grown too impatient.
funnily enough as well the RS 4 deposit is £500 rather than £1000 I’ve had to pay Audi Nottingham.

Afternoon everyone, I been keeping an eye an all the updates and info, ive not chased my order since placing it, and today I finally received an note to say it has left the factory ! Hopefully this time next month it will be here !!!

Sorry don’t know which boat, but spoke to dealer today and he thinks it may have already docked at port of tyne, he was going to contact the prep centre see if it’s there yet

Happy for you mate but at the same time i can’t not feel annoyed that you ordered a carbon edition 5 weeks after my carbon edition and my BW seems to be in limbo!!!

RS 4 ordered with build week of 22-28, should have it sometime in September.

Great news. Whereabouts are you in the country? Not entirely sure whether mine is at Grimsby or Port of Tyne but it’s definitely landed. Not long now :)

Thanks, Removed. Daughter ordered RS5 end of Nov 21, Car at the dealer 3rd week of Feb. About 11 weeks from order.
