Hello from Canada everyone. Thank you for inviting me to the forum.

I have a 2023 TT coupe with two annoyances I am hoping to fix with my ODB11.

1) The rear view mirror is permanently set to auto dimming and I'd like to know if it can be changed. On my previous 2016 TT auto dimming could be disabled using the button under the mirror. The new TT has the same button but it does nothing. Auto dimming is misleading in judging the proximity of other vehicles, and I find it only useful if someone has their brights on or there's a tall SUV in my rear view.
a) Any way to assign the rear view mirror dimming function to the mirror button so I can turn it on/off like with my 2016 TT?
b) Alternatively any way to simply disable auto-dimming? I can manually tilt the mirror if it's too bright.

2) The washer fluid motor is set to squirt continuously for several seconds and I'd like to know if this can be changed to momentary -- so it squirts only when I have the lever depressed like my old 2016 TT. Right now if I have a long drive with road spray I often need just a small amount of washer fluid to clear the windscreen, but the prolonged spray depletes the reservoir and results in excess washer fluid splashing over the wipers and running everywhere.

I have posted these questions in the TT forum but it's possible there is a tech section for tweaks that would be more appropriate. :sign imnew:

Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.

Can you post a photo of which rear view mirror you have

Awesome! Thank you. I will check this out.
In the OBDeleven I navigated through 09 Central Electrics > Adaptations
I don't see an option for wash time cycle.

I do see an option called Front Wash Function > Factor Washing Delay -- current value 10
Does this sound like the right setting to modify?

Alternatively I see an option for RLS (Rain Light Sensor) Washer Front with a value of 15 s

Thank you for your help.

I think its this Mindestwaschzeit_Frontwischer (Minimum wash time _front wiper)

Re the mirror. It's a strange one , your getting power as the compass is working .
Is thev green light near the switch ? We don't have that mirror over here

There's nothing you can do with mirtor with coding as they're not on the canbus system unless you have the holihh beam camera in it , and even then the dimming function isn't

OK thank you. I guess I'm stuck with it permanently on auto-dimming.

The button had a green light on the 2016 TT when dimming was activated, but no light on the 2023 mirror.

There must be a fault with your mirror if it has a switch that's no functional.
They're easy enough to change , just twist on and plug in
