Ok from the forum search this is what I've gathered:
Standard speakers are 4 with 1 tweeter
Adapters are available to fit 5.25 components but limitations is depth. Most people go with 5.25 + adapters
Max depth if 54mm
Require slim fits
Will need adapters for better/bigger speakers no...
Has anyone attempted changing the speakers for some alternatives that can give out alot more of a punch.
I'm on abit of a budget but hoping to get some bargains off eBay but due to my lack of knowledge, any ideas what kind of brand or wattage I should be after?
EDIT: Just done a...
And when we say HID Kit it's just the bulb right, I don't need the balast (I think it's called).
I know these sound like stupid questions but I haven't dealt with projectors before so I want to get it right.
Thanks for any input.
I stopped going to Tuning Werkes quite quickly. The work was good but with my student status back then, I just couldn't afford the labour charges.
Troopa with the HID kits, is it just a bulb or do I need to do something else. And what's so different about them compared to say a Phillips Xtreme...
Lol sorry, S3. Very fancy. Your one looks really nice as well. Bet it doesn't hang around much aye. You still in the Croydon area?

My fiance has an Audi A3 1.6 2001 (Facelift) and I wanted to get some better looking bulbs for the car to fit on.
What I wanted to know was, am I getting the type of bulb right because the ones I've looked at doesn't look like projectors. So here's an image of the headlights...
I did think of Golfs but not Passats for some reason so I'll sit down with him and have a look. He's clued up about cars in general so I'm sure we'll find something.
I'll also check out Mondeos as well. Again, thought of the Focus instead only. I'm sure all of these will come at a good price...
My cousin has just started a new job just near Canterbury and drives there from Bromley so it's pretty high mileage every day.
He was wondering which car would give him the best MPG to keep running costs low. I recommended a Diesel but don't know which one.
He's thinking of getting...
I've had a look on the websites. The only one that had something close was Camskill which featured Track Day Tyres which is close but not quite what I was after.
My friend was quite specific that he wanted full slicks.
Many thanks for the help
As the title asks, a friend of mine asked me to help him look for slick tyres for his track car.
The size he wanted was 235/40/17 but I can't for the life of me find anything that are slicks!
