Couldn't find a RS5 sub forum.. sorry if its in the wrong place,
My RS5 started spluttering the other day, loss of power, dropping gears, from say 70 down to 30, over the space of 30 seconds and picks back up, it has also cut out 2 times, and not started till around the 4/5 go over the space...
Not an Audi, but my golf is having this issue at the moment, could anyone bring ideas?
Drives fine if you drive slow and gradual, but any normal driving it Judders at 2k to about 2.6k it say jumps, and it's not a smooth motion, revs go from 2000 - 2200 - 2400 - 2600 no faults to report on VCDS...
Could anyone tell me the exact differences between these two cars? A good friend of mines S3 is being written off and I can have anything I want off the car before it gets scrapped. (He's been offered it back as a cat b).

So basically having no luck at all, brought a head as there was no compression on #2, but after the heads been removed, piston #2 is also knackered.
What block could I put in just to get the car running? And will it match up with the k04 bits?
Or would it be better to just change the one...
Been told my #2 valve has no compression causing the misfire on my APY S3, would I have any issues fitting a APX head? Been told the heads should all work across the 210/225 models but I'd rather have some advise from a forum member.

Looking to facelift my clocks from the pre facelift red, to the later white clocks.
However my clocks show my vin in screen, and the guy coding them says the new ones will show the vin coming from the used clocks, as the clocks were coded to that chassis originally, does that make sense?
Ive got two Audi S3's both APY with exactly the same issue, no EML light, sometimes some fault codes come up in regards to knock sensors and lambda sensor cat 1. Ive tried to look in measuring blocks 014-019 too see if theres misfires but the fields just come up blank?
The car in question is actually a golf gti but it has a CDL engine fitted.
Recently it had a bad misfire throughout the rev range, and ran on 3 cylinders, however this was fixed by replacing injector 3 and all 4 spark plugs.
Now on tickover its got a very slight hiccup/misfire...
yeah it was already broken, I wouldnt mind changing the section of loom if its not too hard and possible? Yeah all wiring seems good, but I will have to double check it, might move the bits and pieces out the car and see if theres anything not quite right.
Coolant level hasn't dropped, and oil...
