BRD 2.0 TDI DPF EGR Removal

Yep, a quick Google suggests there is a couple ways to do it on the EDC16 http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=9274.0title=

BRD 2.0 TDI DPF EGR Removal

My last car had a Bosch EDC15 ECU, which is a bit older than the ones in our car I think, but it supported some cool features like launch control natively. You could set the 0mph first gear rev limit to whatever you wanted, so if you wanted to launch it quickly you could just put it in first...

BRD 2.0 TDI DPF EGR Removal

I would be very interested to learn more about this. I've only looked at maps before, never had the courage to modify and reflash my own home-brew map back to the ECU though  Always left that bit to the pro's.

BRD 2.0 TDI DPF EGR Removal

I think the only reason most people cut them open is because it's quicker to get the guts out that way, but without doubt taking the time to do it properly without cutting it open is the way to go. Much cleaner job and almost impossible to detect. Sounds like you've found the right chap for the...

What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

I have to respectfully disagree with you there Rob about it being basically the same as the RS4, there are quite a few differences for me. The DTM bumper has a completely flat/linear lip, unlike the S and RS which have two protruding flares either side of the grille, under the foglights, a...

What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

I might be one of the only people that really dislikes the DTM styling. Never thought it really suited the elegant look of the B7, looks too much like an aftermarket bodykit that doesn't belong. The massive holes under the grille, lack of foglights, chicken wire vent covers that don't match...

Help with Air con not working

I've just had a little search online and you're right, just seen a Denso OEM unit for just shy of £200 delivered. Crazy what Audi think they can get away with charging for the same part. Will get that ordered next week, be nice to have working A/C again.

What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

Thank you I appreciate that  Mine has the same issue with some bubbling on the slam panel, seems to be very common on these, almost every B7 I've seen has some surface rust there. Tempted to remove mine and have it shot blasted and powder coated. Not sure how much work it is to remove...

Help with Air con not working

I have exactly the same issue, no codes, everything checks out when scanning. Certain my compressor is dead, so I spoke with Audi who wanted £850 for a replacement (that's just parts!!). Where did you get your compressor from for £200? Would be happy to pay that.

What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

Gave the painted area on the underside of the bonnet a clean the other day. Something I've been putting off for a while as it was properly oily/greasy. I never understand why people make such a massive mess when oiling hinges/catches, just globs of goop everywhere. Under the bonnet now looks...

What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

Unfortunately (as far as I'm aware) they're only available directly from the AMMO NYC shop in the US at the moment, so shipping costs a fair bit. https://ammonyc.com/products/ammo-flo-thru-woolie But it's the sort of tool you only need to buy once, they last forever, so I didn't mind paying it.

What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

It doesn't have to be used exclusively with a waterless wash, if you're at home and have access to a hose, you could instead fill the foamer up with wheel soap, or even just car shampoo, and it works just as well :)
