I'd say the 1.9TDI is a far more reliable engine than the 2.0 TDI BLB, considering the latter has balance shaft/oil pump issues. No such thing to worry about on the 1.9TDI:

From the top of my head these are the OBD11 mods i did when i had my A6 C8:
* Enabling rear DRLs (Scandinavian type)
* Audio chirping when locking/unlocking car
* Enabling handbrake automatically once putting the car into 'P'
* Enabling Wireless Apple Carplay
* Remembering last 'lane assist'...
Excellent point. I've noticed that on my 2022 VW Touareg hardly any OBDEleven modification or 'app' works. Worst mistake was buying a £200 Traffic Sign Recognition dongle from Kufatec only to find out that it did diddly squat on my Touareg after coding, despite the TSR option being selected in...
Moved to UAE earlier in the year and would have loved to get another C8 Avant but sadly Audis cost a small fortune here, so went for a VW Touareg instead. Ordered car in June 2022 and it was delivered recently. Absolutely love it to bits, it has the 3.0T V6 340PS engine which is soooo damn...
You have just seen a software bug, even though its very very minor.... welcome to the A6.
I'll tell you of a similar bug which I see on the lower MMI screen on my A6: the 'lane assist' icon shows up in my cockpit screen and this is normal for > MY20 A6 models, whereas earlier models have it...
Most likely down to software bugs, they normally disappear after 10+ mins once you’ve switched off engine and locked car. I wouldnt worry too much if such warnings occur only occasionally.
For those who may want to upgrade their A6 (MY20 or earlier) to the Teck Pack (bigger MMI screen, Virtual Cockpit etc), HazzyDayz will be offering this as a retrofit sometime in Summer 2022. They're currently working on a solution to get around the licence restriction on the Premium maps (this...
AFAIK the RS6 animations (even with OBD11) will not work on standard Matrix LED headlights, ie you need different lights. Which lights do you have on your A6? HD matrix?
If you have an A6 Black Edition ( I assume thats what you meant by a 'blackline') then OEM wheel size will be 8.5j x 20 x et43, with tyres 255/40/R20. Why not stick with same wheel and buy winter tyres in 255/40/R20 size?
All working fine here. Running myAudi on both an iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Mini without any issues. Maybe get your car checked out at the dealer if still under warranty?
That doesn't sound right, even on an oil thirsty diesel. You shouldn't have to top up the oil for at least 5k miles on a brand new A6. I've also found the MMI oil level indicator isn't always 100% accurate at all times, for example a few weeks ago i had an oil change done yet afterwards the MMI...
