have you used vcds to operate window? is the loom the same p/n or an equivalent supersession that matches your vin. unless i'm daft seems to me if vcds operates the window then the loom/control module/wire runs are intact. if not then the loom is the problem. the control module should be working...
so here’s my 3.2 with EVOMS CAI. it does not make any difference except it makes me smile so do what makes you happy knowing that may make you poor. yes I use an S3 badge. I’m a long time poser on this side of the pond
its a cluster out mate and you need a DA polisher. Hand rub is not going to do it justice. Mild compound with orange pad at low speed is abrasive and rightfully so as those scratches are deep
just a suggestion but why dont you take the other passenger door shell off and then you will understand that the door handles and such are interchangable
strange that the inside lever does not work to unlock. new door card very likely unless you dont care about the bottom screw hold. door lock mechanism cheap on ebay as is wiring if needed. BTW that price you were quoted is pretty high and door cards are cheap on ebay as well...
why do you want the lights to be only on with ignition. Its seamless when they are installed factory spec. Robin A3 has the looms and its an easy job to do.
I bought used s3 cluster and switched out the dials and needles into my a3 cluster and replaced 14 leds to white. Simples. No immo issue no coding issue.

I used orange pad with mild compound. Setting 2 and go slow. Flawless result. Looks better than factory. Of course you need a da polisher.
