Mine was just the seal, everything else was fine. It’s one of those things that just get worse. Started out odd drip then a few more till I couldn’t clean it off my drive. When the dealer saw it it took a few diagnosis for them to figure out where it was coming from cause it was that slow.

I’ve had that gearbox seal replaced under warranty. Get it sorted before it stains your drive. Might as well do it a gearbox service as all the oil needs drained.

My first one was covered under the all in one plan. Let’s see if I get a second :wink:

my original factory one lasted about 4 years under 30k. This one is almost 2 years and about 12k. Due to Covid and working from home I don’t drive as much now. Maybe sitting around doing nothing doesn’t help it.

I’ve been looking at this. Max is 6 years old but it’s unclear if that’s at the start of the activation or at the end of the 2 years term. Mine will be exactly 6 years old when my all in warranty runs out.

Check the battery. I had all sorts of weird errors on dash when my battery was in its way out even though it started the car. These electronics are quite sensitive to voltage fluctuations

If you have vcds or obd11 you can code them out easily. I don’t believe they are road legal either.

most likely pace car mod done on vcds. Should be able to undo it with coding.

Not had any paint work done in years so not sure who’s good nowadays. Alaris in buffies brae used to be good in Dunfermline area. If it’s just a diffuser any mechanic can surely fit that.
