I'd say if you want a decent facelift car thats been properly looked after with a complete documented service history then you still need to be prepared to pay around £5k+ for it.
If you're happy to have a car with a mulitude of owners, not a complete history and high mileage then you can pick...
I just seem to recall Nige saying once that the OEM Audi sharkfins were only for GPS, Aux Heater sensor and GSM and that the external FM antenna was in the rear window. I could be wrong, or that could have been specific to the 8P maybe as it was last year sometime at least.
Hmm...I don't think i've got anything better to do this afternoon, so it's either design a new avatar or go outside and start clubbing the students that are shouting and whinging outside the office...student beatings anyone?
I don't know how good they are i'm afraid, but as a heads up (and I know this sounds odd) but ASDA are selling them for a very good price at the moment, so could be worth a punt if they are cheap enough.
I couldn't agree more, TG is far better, and how minging does VBL look mid pregnancy!?
I was surprised how close it was between the TTRS and the Porker, I'm sure if the Porker was manual it may have been a bit more of a gap between them mind. And that Nissan was just a shocker, ****** awful...
The white one, red one came second, black third.... I think??
But to be honest, the red one was fastest around the track, which is what counts.
So after watching that, I really want a red car :)
If Ford ins't a problem, then the little fiesta 1.6TDI is pretty cheap on road tax, my mum was paying £35 a year I seem to remember. She had a Zetec S version, actually not a bad little car and looks quite smart.
Driving an form of Metro is frightening! I once owned a MG Metro and I can safely say it was the worst car I ever had. I imagine though that fun could be worked into the equation with 6pot lump in the boot!
