i had it done on another forum members front drive. Might help you see what's involved. I'm sure there are other ways but this was his way plus I had new clutch and flywheel at same time.
I get the same mpg, quattro are less efficient than FDW. Also new cars are have much stricter emissions and are less efficient than older ones. Your mpg is pretty standard. Drive it like miss daisy and never on boost and you might get mid 40s but that's just boring. Floor it and watch the real...
Not to me, there where no puddles, lost about a litre in 6 months. But mechanic saw it straight away said there was like a crystallised substance where it had been leaking and then evaporating, I don't know where that was though, Sorry.
FYI when I had my cam belt done, I started loosing coolant turned out the new water pump was leaking/failing, don't know the specifics. Anyway garage replaced it free of charge.
Faulty sensor maybe. My oil light min, (an orange light) comes on every 1500 miles and I put 300 ml oil and it goes out until next time. Dip stick is a ****** to read. Like I said oil pressure light is red and is the One to worry about. If u are unsure what this symbol looks like it appears...
Remap, Eibach springs, egr delete, dpf delete, a6 front brake upgrade same calipers as b6 s4 and way cheaper than going Porsche or rs4 brakes. Get modding!
missed a few check my sig...
You say oil min light which is orange and nothing to worry about. Oil pressure warning is red and a lot to worry about. Two very different things. I hope for you sakes its not the later.

Haha thanks for all your work mate, I didn't think I was ragging it at all. Drive was ok, I stalled it twice thought :( clutch feels very different that coupled with the fact I was trying not to slip it at all while bedding in didn't help. see you soon for the break upgrade.
Cheers

Hi Chris, thanks for keeping us in the loop I'm back in uk on Friday so wouldn't mind picking the car up on Saturday if you are around. You reckon you will be able to get brakes installed by then, not to worry if u have other commitments they can't wait a little longer
Cheers
Matt
